But... it is much better to eat in here than to order take out. Take out wasn't great. The food was drenched in way too much black bean liquid, it soaked the chimichanga so much that the bottom fell apart when I tried to pick it up. Plus it ruined the taste. Salsa cups were unclear, left us to taste & guess which was which.
I do wish there were more healthy alternatives. Ordering take out with a large group is often difficult, Combo plates unclear on menu, side options are also vague, instead of just beans & rice, would be great if there were other side options such as salad or fries. Also pickup times can double from your original estimate; with some plates left cold.
One of my favorite restaurants of all time. I bring my family here a lot the place is welcoming and warm the food is a major plus
Terrible takeout service... If you're looking for a quick take out, THE BEVERLY LOCATION IS NOT THE PLACE!!! It took me 15 minutes to place an order at the bar because there was no hostess on shift during lunch. My order took so long to come I had to leave HUNGRY with no time to stop somewhere else. I called the manager and was basically told "oh well, we're short staffed"... Thanks for wasting my time!!!
Great portions. Good food. Friendly staff. Yummy chips & salsa. Awesome atmosphere. Clean environment. Plus a Free fried ice cream on your Birthday!! ...also very delicious! All their Desserts are very Delicious!
I like the building and location. Chips were good, salsa was watery, but flavorful. "Black Jack Margarita" tasted like some flavor of capri-sun (weak). My waiter never checked on us after giving us our food so my BF went without a drink for 50% of the time. My main problem was that I ordered the veggie burrito, described on the menu as "A flour tortilla stuffed with rice, whole black beans, grilled onions, peppers and mushrooms." "Mushrooms? Weird, those dont belong in a traditional burrito" I thought, so I asked them to exclude them. Received the plate and had to pick out OVER A CUP of carrot and zucchini medallions. BE WARNED, even though the menu doesnt mention it, your soft burrito will be penetrated by these firm, out-of-place 2" pieces of out-of-place ingredients. I also found peas. Peas?! When I brought it up to our apathetic waiter, he said "well they are vegetables." Disappointing birthday meal.
i love this food and the staff and the whole place is very inviting and brings you into a good times and the margaritas are great the salsa and my favorite is anything with their carna asada is amazing i come here a lot and would consider this place one of my all time favorite restaurants
