I was treated unfairly. The physical therapist, Maureen Keiran , treated me as if I was pretending to be hurt. She would tell me things like my injury was all in my head & there was nothing wrong with me at all. She had stated that my situation was superficial. My reports says different. She told me she was cutting back most of my days due to fact that she feels that nothing is wrong with me. She told me I am not entitled to all my appointments scheduled because she feels that I can to go to the gym to help with the healing process of my knee. Mind you I am out of work due to my injury. So how would I even began to pay for a gym membership? I tried explaining to her that PT with a professional is beneficial and crucial to my healing process. With the current numbness, tingly, painful difficult immobility I'm having with my knee and leg. I feel that PT is necessary and greatly needed for my situation. Which is also proved through my doctors orders. Since day one of attending this therapy place, I've felt discriminated against. I would look around the room and notice that everyone was receiving hands on massage therapy for their injury. Mean while not once did she aid in doing hands on with my leg injury. I felt as if she was treating my like a germ. Even during her offensive bias opinion she even stated that she was suppose to be massaging her clients in efforts to improving flexibility of scar tissue. She did not do that with me at all. on a few occasions she forced me to do things that were painful for me. She even added extra weights on my leg presses causing a lot of pressure and pain upon my leg. Today she pressed down on my leg so hard that she caused excruciating pain that caused me to push her hand away from my leg. In all efforts of keeping her from hurting me any further. She would ask me questions about my physical abilities and would write down things I didn't say in the reports. I would give her a number of my pain levels and she would write a different number than what I told her. With her aggressive forceful demands and bias ignorant unsympathetic comments this woman is a definite liability to her company. I wouldn't refer anyone to this place. Not to see her at least.
